Kozhikode: The 74th Independence Day of India has celebrated at various institutions of Markazu Saquafathi Sunniyya as usual but, with limited festivity as unusual due to the COVID’19 situations. The chancellor of Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya Sheikh Abubakr Ahmed hoisted the flag and delivered the freedom day speech at Markaz at 8.30 am. India has freed from the foreigners with the collective efforts of Indians despite of Religious, racial or communal disparities. Harmony and unity was the ultimate thing our freedom fighters hold until they acquired our Independence. This tradition must be followed by each citizen and the doings that inappropriate to the harmony and tradition must not be allowed at any cost. He said in his inaugural speech. The flag hoisting ceremony at Markaz Knowledge city has inaugurated by Dr Muhammed Abdul Hakeem Azhari the director of MKC and felicitated by the C.E.O Dr Abdul Salam. Various online programs and webinars have been conducted as part of the celebrations. Online videography competition for the students of 30 institutions under Markaz was participated by many students. Sheikh Abubakr Ahmed and the general manager C.Muhammed Faizy felicitated for the Independence Day celebrations through online media which has been watched by thousands across the country.
