Markaz United Youth Summit Begins

Kozhikode: Markaz United Youth Summit, a UN associated international conference aiming at the empowerment of youth in which above 300 delegates from 10 countries participates, started at Markaz Knowledge City on Friday. The three day summit , jointly organised by Markaz and United national organizations’ sub divisionary committee, is particularly intended at nourishing the intellectually qualitative youth into diplomats and courageous leaders. The conference was inaugurated by Navjot singh Sidhu, minister for cultural affairs and former cricketer, who addressed that youth, who said that the energetic youth can only guide the world and tackle the political and diplomatic issues. In that way, this conference would be inevitably help the delegates to mould your dream outrightly.

Kanthapuram A.P Aboobaker Musliar, chancellor of Jamia Markaz , talked that this conference intends to shape the leaders who can stand against terrorism and extremism globally and this is the reason why Jamia Markaz being an educational institution organized this event. Conference has also allotted a couple of seats for Malabar natives with the aim of forming peace promoters with in the kerala region. Mani Shankar Akiyar, adviser for india’s movement for to the United Nations, Dr.Abdul Hakim Azhari, Ameer Hassan Australia, Krishna Allavaru, Dr .Abdussalam talked in the inaugural function. Followed by this, discussions and debates incepted under 7 UN committees with the agendas of international terrorism, Human Rights Violation, Migration issues and other foreign policies.

The conference will be concluded by tomorrow (Sunday). internationally reputed Environmentalist Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali bin Rashid Al- Nuaimi, aka ‘ Green Sheikh ’ on sustainable development. Deepak Vohra, special adviser to prime minister, will interact with the delegates.
