Dr. Azhari paid a visit to Bathery Gov. Sarvajana Vocational Higher Secondary School where Shaha Sherin, a 10 year old student died of snakebite in her classroom.
Markaz will join hands with cause of refurbishment and equipping the Bathery school to meet the needs of students, said Dr. Azhari, director of Knowledge City after his visit to the school premises where Shaha Sherin, a 10 year old student died following a snakebite.
He inquired the depth of issues with natives followed by his visit to the school, the premises of which are poorly maintained, toilets and surrounding areas that are unhygienic and insalubrious. “Brilliant and ingenious students are moulded in schools with good academic environment and infra. Teachers should treat their pupils as their own children. This a value every teacher must possess. The dearth of this very value in few teachers at Bathery school costed us the invaluable life of a student. We should be cautious to make sure that such a tragedy like this never happens again. Teachers, natives, peoples representatives should collectively pull together in safeguarding and maintaining schools in their areas, Dr. Azhari added.
He then visited the grieving family of the deceased to consoled her father Adv. Azeez and family members and performed special prayer. Sayyid Shihabudin Ahdal and Rasheed Punnasseri were also with Dr. Azhari representing Markaz.
