The governor of Kerala Arif Mohammad khan said in the ‘interactive evening with the governor’ function organised at Jamia Markaz that Kerala Muslims are greatly blessed because they have visionary intellectual religious leaders who work for the development of community also they preserve a lifestyle that promotes pluralistic values. He repeatedly exemplified the activities of Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad across India in uplifting the marginalised societies educationally and philanthropically are highly laudable. The prime specialty of Kerala Muslim leaders is they make a bridge between religion and modernity and so all kinds of educational activists have been running by religious scholars. He launched the Markaz’s Green camping saying that it is necessary to build a strong nation and achieve a sustainable society, promoting eco-friendly lifestyle: he planted the first tree inaugurating planting of 1 million trees across India. He also interacted with the Makaz students, comes from 23 states. He replied to a question raised by Mahmoud Ahamed from Jammu and Kashmir on how to build Kashmiris educationally powerful, that Markaz’s activities in developing the villages can be taken as a model in shaping a community in accordance with the interest of the nation. he told, seeking knowledge is very important. So, every Muslim should learn the true meaning of the Quran. he released the logo of Markaz 43rd conference.
