Jamia Markaz opens up new ways of collaboration with IAIN Bengkulu, Indonesia

Weaving new threads of collaboration, Sheikh Abubaker Ahmed, Chancellor of Jamia Markaz, Kerala India and Prof. Dr Sirajudhin, M, M.Ag, MH, Rector of State Institute of Islamic Studies(Institut Agama Islam Negri), Bengkulu, Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a number of academic terms. The collaboration aims to further academic collaboration, provide the opportunity for global experience and to facilitate advancement of knowledge on the basis of reciprocity, best efforts, mutual benefit and frequent interactions. The signing ceremony was held during the commencement day celebrations of the new academic year at Jamia Markazussaqafathissunniyya, Calicut.
Both Universities have agreed to explore the possibility of engaging in the in such modes of cooperation as exchange of information on research, teaching, and learning materials and other literature relevant to their educational and research programs, exchange on a reciprocal basis, of students at undergraduate, graduate, doctoral levels, for periods of study, research and training, and submitting joint proposal and engagement in research and training programs sponsored by funding agencies, while extending invitations to each other’s faculty to participate therein. Dr Hussein Saqafi, Vice. Chancellor of Jamia Markaz, Dr.MAH Azhary Al Kandi, Director, C. Muhammed Faizy, General Manager, Dedi Efrizal, Lecturer at IAIN Bengkulu attended the event.
