Dream house project for flood victims accomplished

Kozhikode: Dream homes constructed by Markaz for 10 families who lost their homes during the floods have been handed over. The keys were presented by Indian Grand Mufti Sheikh Abubakr during the function held at Markaz Garden Poonoor. “Islam teaches to be with those in adversities and Markaz has always been involved in such typical charity works”, said Sheikh Abubakr. ‘The Rebuild Kerala’ project in collaboration with charity organization RCFI has been accomplished in Cheppala, Narikuni, Mdavoor Mukk, Perimblam, Thiruvambadi, Eengapuzha, Karulazhi, Kuttikadavu, Karinchola and Koombara. 26 housing schemes are being worked upon under Markaz across the state. Two bedroomed houses were built with good qualities and facilities at a cost of Rs 6 lakh.
Samastha President E.Sulaiman Musliyar did the prayers. Sayyid Ali Bafakhi presided the function. Markaz General Manager C.Muhammed Faizi delivered the keynote address. Markaz Director Dr. AP Abdul Hakeem Azhari explained the Dream House Project. Sayyid Abdul Fathah Avelam, Sayyid Sharafudheen Jamalullaili, Sayyid Swabur Bahasan and Rasheed Punnassery addressed the function.
